Peter has been invited to the NEMLA Conference in Toronto, Canada, in April/May 2015. He will be a participant on a Literary Translation panel.
Peter has been commissioned to write a chapter on Dylan Thomas and Greenwich Village, New York, by Literature Wales/DT100, to be published in May 2015. The book will comprise a stunning visual and literary guide to Dylan Thomas' worlds, for both armchair dreamers and on the ground visitors and will act as a key part of the Dylan Thomas 100 legacy.
Peter is writer-in-residence for a fifth time in Big Sur, California, from June to August. Whilst in Big Sur, he will work on a requested book on poetry from an American academic publisher. He will also give a talk, Dylan Thomas in New York, at the Henry Miller Library, Big Sur, when his and Aeronwy Thomas's DYLAN THOMAS WALKING TOUR OF GREENWICH VILLAGE, NEW YORK book will be launched: along with performances of works by Dylan organised by writer John Dotson.
The Welsh Government and The British Council (Wales) are to produce an internet app version of the DYLAN THOMAS WALKING TOUR OF GREENWICH VILLAGE, NEW YORK for the DT100 celebrations in New York in 2014. It will be based on the original self-guided tour, which was written by Peter and Aeronwy Thomas.
A tourist pocket-book version of the WALKING TOUR by Peter and Aeronwy, which will include such rarities as a drawing of Dylan by Caitlin and an unpublished photo of David Slivka's and Ibram Lassaw's death mask of Dylan in the making, will be published in January 2014.
With a foreword by Hannah Ellis, the granddaughter of Dylan Thomas, the book will be the centrepiece of a New York visit by the First Minister of Wales and other dignitaries in February 2014, when they will be guided on the actual Walking Tour by Peter and Hannah as part of the DT100 launch in America.
The book will also be launched at Poets House, New York, in early March, organised by Stanley H. Barkan, Peter's American publisher, and in several other American states during 2014, including Boston and California.
Peter has researched and prepared a DYLAN THOMAS TRAIL OF QUOTATIONS for the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea. The Trail will be a part of the popular museum's celebrations of DT100 in 2014. The museum will also display some portraits of Dylan Thomas and other materials when the Trail has its July opening.
The Welsh launch of the DYLAN THOMAS WALKING TOUR OF GREENWICH VILLAGE tourist pocket-book will take place at the museum in May, when Peter will also give a talk entitled Dylan Thomas in New York.
A new poem by Peter, LAMENT FOR SOLDIERS OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR, is to be used in a short film about the First World War. The film, based on the 'Christmas truce' between British and German soldiers, is being made by Franco De Marco and will be a contribution to the First World War Centenary in 2014.
Peter has been invited to the NEMLA Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylania, USA, in April 2014. He will participate on a literary translation panel, This Side of the Truth, hosted by Dr. Kristine Doll and featuring his Slovak translator Miriam Margala and others. He will also lead a poetry workshop for conference participants and the public, using the works of Dylan Thomas and Gerard Manley Hopkins.
Whilst in America, he will participate in readings and talks in Salem. He will be inducted as a honorary member into the Phi Sigma Iota Society at Salem State University for his worldwide contribution as a poet and publisher. He will also participate in the launch of BRIDGING THE WATERS, a bilingual (English/Korean) and international anthology of poetry at Poets House, New York
Peter will return to Big Sur, California, for a fourth time as a writer-in-residence throughout the whole of July and August. Whilst there, as the guest of poet and painter Carolyn Mary Kleefeld, he will work on the tourist pocket-book version of the DYLAN THOMAS WALKING TOUR OF GREENWICH VILLAGE, which will be published in early 2014, and work on THE DUST OF SILENCE, a new drama.
He will also be involved in the world-premiere production of his drama THE FIRE IN THE WOOD, which is based on the life of Big Sur sculptor Edmund Kara.

Peter has been invited to deliver an academic paper, SINGING IN CHAINS: SOUND-TEXTURING IN POETRY AND THE PROBLEMS WITH TRANSLATION, at the NEMLA Conference in Boston in March 2013. He will also give talks on Dylan Thomas, poetry readings and carry out creative writing workshops for various organisations in Salem, as the guest of Professor Kristine Doll.
Peter was one of eight people invited to meet Prince Charles at 5 Cwmdonkin Drive, the Birthplace of Dylan Thomas. The gathering was informal and the Prince showed a great interest in Dylan Thomas and the celebrations for 2014. Hannah Ellis, the grand-daughter of Dylan Thomas, was present. Anne and Geoff Haden, who renovated the Birthplace, hosted the visit.
Peter's poem POETRY READING: THE ROBERT FROST FARM has been nominated for a prestigious PUSHCART PRIZE 2012 (USA). It was published in the PATERSON LITERARY REVIEW earlier this year and was nominated by the American journal's editor.
